Pearl's Spear

These are the two reference images that I worked off of.

The spear is made from EVA foam and a shower curtain rod.

Here is the spear while the paint was drying.

Covid-19 stay-at-home started around the same time I started this so I had to work with what I already had. Thankfully I still had the materials from when I made my first rendition of this gun in 2016 (shown in last image).

Because I made this with a shower curtain rod, I am able to easily elongate the spear like Pearl's does in the show!

I am far happier with this rendition and am so glad that I remade the spear! Once I can safely leave the house (dang covid) I will take pictures with the full costume.

This picture is from 2016. I made Pearl's Spear to go with my cosplay, but I was disappointed with how it turned out because I made it while I was in con crunch mode (aka I made it as fast as possible). I'm very happy with how I have improved since then!
