I was SO excited when they released Sigma's character video. I loved his design so much that I decided to make it, even though I am the opposite of a middle aged man.
This is one of the reference images I used. I also used a ton of in-game screenshots.
These are some in progress pictures, as I still have a bit of work to do on everything.
Here is the chest piece in its earlier days.
Working on adding the base shoulder armor.
Successful! My arms look hilariously tiny in this costume.
After adding the final shoulder pieces.

These shin pieces were the first part of the costume I built. It took two iterations before I liked them.
Lower arm pieces.

Bicep and elbow pieces.
I decided to print the hand armor pieces. I thought they would be a good candidate to try out our 3D printer we had just bought.
The 3D printing took some trial and error before we had a successful print. Here are the pieces painted and attached to the glove.
Hip pieces.
Head piece, still missing some pieces to it.
Hyperspheres! The blue is made of a acrylic sphere, which I shoved a single battery operated LED light into.
Twist the LED lights to turn them on!
A pile of pieces ready for painting.
Laying it out like this was intimidating to look at. A lot of work to do.
In the middle of painting.
Bonus creepy mini Sigma my boyfriend printed!
Sigma (Overwatch) Build Pics
Sigma from Overwatch. Started build December 2019. It is still a work in progress, and I will update with final pics once everything is put together! Most of what is left to do is just a little painting, weathering, and a few tiny details.
